TechPress 2 Mounting Press

The TechPress 2™ hydraulic-pneumatic mounting press is used to encapsulate samples for metallographic preparation.

The microprocessor-based system allows up to 89 mounting steps to be programmed, including cycle start/stop, preheating time and temperature, heating time and temperature, predefined or operator-defined mold pressures and cooling time.

Temperature is displayed in both Fahrenheit and Celsius throughout the mounting procedure.

Two mounts can be produced at one time using the duplexing spacer.
