The CR-410T handheld tomato colorimeter is a specialty colour measuring instrument used to determine the colour and quality of tomato products such as sauce, paste, juice, and ketchup. This instrument uses a specific colour index that follows USDA standards.

The CR-410T is a tristimulus colorimeter that measures colour using filters with a close match to the spectral sensitivity function of the human eye. Using this technology, operators can achieve traceable measurement data for colour and colour difference that correlates with human perception.

The device firmware contains a colour index approved by the USDA for grading the colour of processed tomato products, simplifying the colour data to present the user with one number to determine quality and grade from batch to batch.

Designed to be used for colour control of raw tomato, sauce, paste, juice and ketchup, ideal for procurement, goods in, lab, production or QC to produce a consistent and appealing colour.
