Hyprez W and OS
Hyprez W compound

A water-soluble formula that cleans easily from workpiece, Hyprez W is recommended for areas requiring a very high luster, but which might be affected by an oil-base compound.

Hyprez W was the first commercially successful diamond compound. Formulated by Engis, it is still in general use by the die and mold industry and for precison hand lapping. For additional lubrication, use W lubricant.

Hyprez OS compound

This oil-based formula perfectly complements Hyprez W. It is especially popular in lapping areas where oil base lubricants help provide faster cutting action. It absorbs more abraded material and is self-lubricating. However, when additional lubrcant is desired, use OS Type IV lubricant for best results.
